First day of summer project

Here is the project my girls did on their first day of summer vacation. We bought $1 flip flops at Michael's and raided my ribbon stash. They turned out darling!! They get compliments every time they wear them. One woman told us we should sell them.......DD said no one would pay enough to make it worth her time as it took 2 hours for each pair! I wonder how much she thinks her time is worth, huh?

Teacher gifts

Just a quick post about what we made for teacher gifts this year....my 11 year old DD made this one herself after seeing this tutorial. I think it turned out darling and her teacher loved it! We found the acrylic frames, pens, and Post it notes all at Dollar Tree.

I made a darling box for candy but forgot to take a photo of it before I gave it away. You can see one here though.......I bought the template for the box from Papertrey Ink. I just love Lauren's templates! The teacher we gave it to said she was never going to open it....ha, it had Godiva chocolates in it. I bet that didn't last long!
