Christmas cards

As I have said before, I consider myself card challenged. And I was never very interested in stamping. Lately that has changed..........partly because I love the products from Papertrey Ink and partly because my photos are so unorganized I cannot find anything TO scrapbook! I am working on the photos.....but in the meantime I am feeling the need to do something crafty so I have done a few cards here and there. I have not sent out Christmas cards in years because it was one thing that really stressed me out so I just gave it up. This year I am going to make a few to go along with our gifts. Each one will be unique. Just sharing my first one...........thanks for looking!

Supplies:

Cardstock: New Leaf (Papertrey Ink) and Bazzill Basics
Pattern paper:Anna Griffin
Diecuts: Top Note die (Stampin Up)
Stamps: Signature Christmas (Papertrey Ink)
Ink: Fresh Snow (Papertrey Ink)
Embossing folder: Cuttlebug Swiss Dot (Provocraft)
Ribbon and button from my stash

Keeping Tabs

I am seriously considering giving everyone on my Christmas list gift cards this year. The challenge will be to package them in a clever and beautiful way. So, I am again going to turn to Timeless Templates designed by Lauren Meader. They make your "gift wrapping" look fabulous and are available for purchase at www.papertreyink.com. This one is called Keeping Tabs. It was so much fun to do....and easy too! Here is the outside.....

And here it is opened up.......

I am thinking it will be perfect to hold a few goodies and a gift card for someone.

Supplies:

Cardstock: Bazzill Basics
PatternPaper: Anna Griffin
Stamps: Peaceful Poinsettia and Vintage Labels(Papertrey Ink)
Ink: Ocean Tides, Hibiscus Burst and Spring Moss (Papertrey Ink)
Diecuts: Spellbinders Nestabilities Label One
Buttons and ribbon from my stash

Thanks for looking!

A Child's Year

I have been dying to buy this cartridge for months now and I finally won it on Ebay. This is my first project with it but certainly not my last. I thought this image would be perfect for a card.

There are so many darling images for cards and layouts. I think my next project is going to be a plate though. I found some plain glass plates at Dollar Tree and I am going to etch one with an image from this cart. I just have to make the difficult decision of which one to use!

I have been doing lots of crafting the past week so I will post a new project tomorrow using a Timeless Template from Papertrey Ink. Hope to "see" you then!
